RabbitMQ Integration Guide
Overview
RabbitMQ is a widely used open-source message broker that underpins asynchronous communication between services and applications. It secures its AMQP, management, and inter-node traffic with TLS, and frequently uses mutual TLS between nodes and clients. CertSecure Manager manages those broker and client certificates so messaging stays encrypted, trusted, and available.
Key Use Cases
- Issue and rotate the TLS certificates used by RabbitMQ nodes and client connections, keeping message traffic encrypted and mutually authenticated as the cluster and its clients change over time.
- Automatically renew broker certificates ahead of expiry to prevent the messaging outages and dropped connections that occur when a node’s certificate lapses in a running cluster.
- Centrally monitor and enforce policy on RabbitMQ mutual-TLS certificates across development, staging, and production, so every environment meets the same trust and cryptographic requirements.
